Dr. Himanshu M.Raje, Director

Dr. Raje has more than 45 years of hands on experience in structural designing. Imbibed by the rare qualities of values and workmanship Dr. Raje has built up an enviable association with blue chip clients: Reliance Industries, Tata Group, Larsen & Toubro, HDIL and Government of India. His overseas endeavours include fruitful associations with ARTEC engineers and Toyo Engg. Ltd.; building the King Khalid Expressway and International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Extreme engineering, a passion for Dr. Raje and an inspiration for his team saw all divisions of the company leapfrog ahead of its competition, at short notice. An ardent believer in the philosophy of giving back to society, Dr. Raje has served on the board of Shivaji University, Maharashtra and Sardar Patel College of Engineering.

Varun H Raje, Managing Director

Mr. Varun Raje’s journey in the infrastructure and project management domain has been shaped by a lifelong fascination with how engineered systems influence society. Growing up around technical discussions and visiting project sites with senior engineers, he developed an early appreciation for the profound impact that design and construction have on everyday life. When he assumed leadership at Raje Consultants, his vision was to build an organisation that delivers engineering excellence through precision, innovation, and ethical practice.

What began under his leadership as a structural design outfit has now evolved into a multidisciplinary consultancy offering integrated services across design, engineering, project management, cost consultancy, and technical audits. Over the years, his vision expanded from delivering technically sound projects to creating a holistic ecosystem where technology, sustainability, and disciplined execution drive long-term value. Today, under his guidance, Raje Consultants stands as a committed partner in nation-building, contributing meaningfully to India’s infrastructure growth through smart, resilient, and future-ready solutions.
Mr. Raje holds an M. Tech from IIT Bombay, a PGDBM from NMIMS, and a Certification in Real Estate Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His professional experience over 18 years spans projects valued at over ₹5000 Crores and more than 50 million sq. ft., along with extensive expertise in structural design, technical audits, and full-lifecycle project leadership.

Brig. Bhalla VSM, Executive Director

A very competent engineer [B.E (Civil)] with an experience of more than 45 years in construction industry in the Project Management stream. He had prestigious appointments in India & Abroad. He has served on the board of Dynamix Dairies and many other real estate companies in Mumbai. He was appointed by Indian Military under the Government of India program to spearhead the construction of highways in Bhutan. Having handled Infrastructure Projects involving Roads, Highways, and Bridges, he has also managed Townships, High-rise Residential & Commercial Buildings. He was the leading member for the construction of high rise buildings using aluminum formwork technology for the first time in Mumbai.

Col. Manohar Gurnani, Director - Technical

Col. Manohar Gurnani has an experience of over 40 years, in successfully leading multi-level, multi-dimensional & varied organizations in most challenging environment over difficult geographies to ensure achievement of set goals in the field of Design, planning, development & maintenance of integrated townships to include high rise buildings & allied infrastructure, fabrication & erection of tall mast high support, Developing and implementation of Quality Assurance plans for all projects, construction and maintenance of hill roads, air fields. Highly skilled in swiftly ramping up projects to ensure set deliverables are achieved. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Professional excellence in project management in all the above works including a Five Star Hotel Project at Mumbai.

Uvaraj Phalke, General Manager - Civil

Mr. Uvaraj Phalake has more than 25 years of experience in Engineering Consultancy Services. He has held position of Senior Manager and Head of Contracts & QS Department, pavement design works. He has been instrumental in development of Sea port sector in India while working with multinational company "Mott MacDonald" for about 20 years. Having worked for projects as Senior Manager involving multi-disciplinary consultancy services. Expertise in Cost Management and Contracts/ Tenders.
